Sight and Vision

I was talking to some one about injustice of Allah and his answers opened new questions for me but I want to share that conversation:
Me: “Why Allah makes some people blind or deaf or disabled. It’s not fair with those people.”
He: “Actually we don’t know what is right or wrong. So, how can we be the judge of these things? Can you honestly say that to have a sight is good thing?”

I kept silent because honestly I don’t know the answer. I also remember a quote that says: “The worst thing than losing your sight, is losing your vision.”

I know vision comes with feelings and from heart and Allah gives every person that so how can I say that Allah is not being fair?
Think about it, J

Something about women and their fantasies :)

Woman of all age have some fantasy are regardless of their age or status, but it doesn't mean that we r not practical. Let me explain this with example :

Yesterday, I went to a shoe shop and saw "the shoes of Cinderella" there. These shoes were made of net, they were white in color and looked very delicate. When I wore them, i felt like a princess. But I didn't buy them.
I saw another another black pair of shoes made of leather, which looked strong and more practical.
I bought them.
The reason for buying leather shoes was the need of shoes for daily wear.

There is a misconception that women buy unnecessary thing. But in reality we buy things which are needed, not the things we want to buy or which fancy us. It’s true that we fantasies things but we women are strong enough that when the times comes we ignore our fantasy and do things which are more practical. We women are proud of ourselves because deep down we know that we got the strength to face this world.

Definition of Majlis

I explained the meaning of majlis to my Hindu friend

Friend:"What is majlis?"
Me: "Basically majlis is the gathering in which our religious leader gives lecture on any topic and relates that topic to the incident of karbala"

Friend: "Ok. It sounds a little bit tough."
Me: "No! We go there to attend that lecture. We don't have to give the lecture.”

Friend: "Yes. Got your point"
Me: "Good"

Friend: "But how do they relate every topic?"
Me: "Basically everything we do can be related to good or evil and that’s what they do."

Friend: "Ok"

PRAYER

Praying is a very important part of our life and every religion teaches its follower to pray .

Praying is basically a symbol of hope. In other words, it shows us
that we are hoping for something. But the question is: What are we hoping to get though our prayers?

Most people have the opinion that "we should pray to Allah for what we deserve instead of what we desire because what we deserve would be much better than what we desire."

But I think we should not pray for either what we deserve or what we desire.

We should only pray for Allah's Blessing, because only HE can bless us with what we actually desire in a way that we deserve.

We can only be safe when we are under Allah's blessing. :)
I pray "May Allah bless you all." :D

Planning The Wonderland Escape

Even thought I’ve lived in this wonderland for so long and learned lots of new things but, the thing is that it will always remain wonderland and I don’t want to be here.

But the problem is I‘m lost in this world and can’t find my way back to my world. I know I will find my way because I have belief in myself. :)

This world is just like puzzle to me here they say one thing, but means something totally different; I always have to guess their motives. It’s tiring job.

It’s a deceiving world and my biggest fear is that if I live here too long then I will become one of them and lose my way as well myself forever.

The lessons I have learned are not so pleasant either. They will always remain in my mind as bad memories.

Hope that I will come out of this wonderland soon even thought I’m sure that I will be a changed person but it would be me. :)

Topic: Honest Person’s Definition

Last week we were talking about honesty and honest people in my office.
The discussion between me and my superior went as follows:

She:” In my opinion, a person who is honest always tells the truth. But Pakistani people don’t do it. They tell a lie and even if the other person knows they are lying, they don’t accept it”.
Me: “But not all people are like this. Surely there are some good people.”
She: “Like who?”
Me: “I consider myself an honest person”.
She: “Oh really??????”
And I nod my head.
She: “Do u tell lies?”
Me: “Yes, sometimes ………”
She: “And you accept when other person finds you are lying????”
Me: “Yes, I accept my mistakes”.
She “Still you think you are honest person?”
Me: “Yes”.

She starts laughing and left the room. Without listening to what I wanted to say.
I feel really bad that if I tell her that I always speak the truth then it would make me a honest person but in reality, this statement would be a lie.

Because it’s true that mostly I try to speak the truth but sometimes on rare occasions, I do tell a lie but I suck at lying, so mostly people know that I am lying. When they ask about it, I tell the truth. I think I’m courageous as well as honest. Because I accept my mistakes, it doesn’t make me less honest

I didn’t know a single person who would say that he/ she never lied in his / her life.
So isn’t it better that I accept my wrong doing and feel shame in doing so instead of boasting a false fact??????

Hope at least you people understand my point and the new angle of honesty which I’m trying to convey 

Alice In Wonderland

Most people ask me,
” How is your job going?”
or
“How is your experience?”
These questions remind me of “Alice in wonderland”, a story in which a girl named Alice falls into a rabbit hole and steps into a new world.
While going to my job, I feel like stepping into Alice’s shoes and going to wonderland where nothing is as it seems to be.
It’s a world totally apart from the world I’ve lived in up till now.
Things are so different and difficult for me. People are very cooperative but their way of doing things and mentality is totally different than mine.
I get very confused because all the things I believed in have been altered somehow and have no value in their eyes
Even if they say a simple thing, it seems like riddle to me
And sometimes I wonder if it’s happening to me only or do other feels like this too?
I‘m trying to survive in this wonderland.

Let’s hope that I can do it with head held up high! J
